Tomorrow, June 1st is our first swim meet against Lafayette Country Club.  The meet will begin promptly at 5:30pm and usually lasts anywhere between 3 to 4 hours.
Swimmers in the 8 and under age group should arrive 30 minutes prior to start time at 5:00pm.   All other swimmers need to arrive one hour prior at 4:30pm.
As in years past, age groups need to sit near each other in the pool area and stay with your group.  Bring healthy snacks and drinks and of course the concession stand will be open to purchase items as well.  We will have hot dogs, nachos, hot preztels, drinks and various candies.
If your swimmer is not going to attend this meet and you have not contacted your coach or put your name on the sign out sheet, please do so immediately!  Line ups will be done tonight, so it is imperative coaches have this information.
Please tell your swimmer to pick up his/her area before they leave.  Also please be aware that if you have a swimmer in the 13 and up age group, it is that group's turn to clean up at the end of the meet.  Each age group will clean up their own area.  Your job will be to make sure the bleacher seating and hallway is free of garbage.  If all the swimmers and families pitch in it will not take very long at all.  Thank you so much for your cooperation in this!
I anticipate it will be very hot in the pool room as usual.  If you have not attended a swim meet before, dress accordingly.  If you have any questions, you can contact any member of the board or talk to your child's coach.
